How Classentra estimates the comparison figures shown in the ROI calculator and on /vs/* comparison pages. We publish this so buyers can verify our assumptions and so named vendors can see exactly how their products are characterized.

1. Sources used

Pricing data is scraped from each vendor's official public pricing pages, last reviewed on 2026-05-16. Where vendors do not publish list prices (Docebo, Absorb), figures are derived from ranges reported by buyers in public community forums and from industry-analyst summaries. We do not link to specific Reddit threads or private buyer reports; the category citations are general.

2. Model

The annual cost shown for each vendor uses the formula: flat annual fee + (per-user annual rate × seats) + one-time implementation estimate. Implementation cost is treated as $0 for self-serve products (TalentLMS, Teachable Pro) and ~$5,000 for Absorb based on commonly reported figures; Absorb's actual implementation engagement is contract-specific and not a published rate.

3. Limitations

Enterprise pricing varies significantly by contract, region, term length, support tier, and bundled add-ons. The numbers shown are planning estimates only, not guarantees. Actual customer pricing is frequently lower or higher than the public list price. Buyers should request a current quote directly from each vendor before making a purchase decision.
