AI-tailored workspace for every student you teach

Type a student's name; Classentra suggests progress notes, scheduling, session packs, and the right vocabulary — purpose-built per client without a $99/mo coaching platform.

The problem

Your tools shouldn't eat the margin you make per session

Most solo tutors end up paying for four or five tools to run what is, at heart, a simple operation: meet with a student, take notes, keep the parent in the loop, get paid. A scheduling app, Zoom, a Google Doc per student, a spreadsheet for invoicing, and maybe a separate tool for progress reports. The monthly total creeps past what you make on a single weekly session.

Worse, the context is split across all of them. The notes from last Tuesday aren't next to the notes from this Tuesday. The parent has to piece together progress from an email, a Zoom recording, and a scanned worksheet. You spend ten minutes before every session remembering where you left off.

Classentra is designed around the actual unit of work for a tutor — the student — not the course. Every student has one page with their session history, progress notes, upcoming sessions, materials, and a shareable parent report. Ten minutes of context becomes ten seconds of scroll.

What's inside

Built for 1-on-1 and small-group tutoring — not a bootcamp LMS pretending to fit

A tutor running 20 students a week doesn't need 'enterprise learning paths.' You need session notes that write themselves, parent reports that look professional, and a calendar that doesn't double-book you.

Per-student sessions

Each student has a personal timeline of past and upcoming sessions. Zoom or Meet links generate automatically. Rescheduling updates everyone with one click.

Session notes & progress

Record what you covered, what's next, and how the student did — in a format that stays private to you or can be promoted into a parent-facing report.

Parent-facing reports

Generate a clean weekly or monthly progress summary per student. Share via link (no account required) or send as PDF. Parents see progress, not your internal notes.

Materials per student

Assign readings, worksheets, or practice problems to individual students. Track who's completed what without chasing replies on WhatsApp.

Client messaging

A dedicated channel with each student (and optionally the parent) that isn't tangled with personal texts. Search past conversations. Mute notifications after hours.

AI lesson prep

Turn a curriculum point, a past session's notes, or a student's weak spot into a ready-to-use practice sheet or worked example — without paying for a separate AI tool.

Questions tutors ask

Frequently asked

Does Classentra replace my scheduling tool — Calendly, Acuity, etc.?
Partially. Classentra handles recurring per-student sessions and rescheduling beautifully. If you use a public booking link for new prospects, we recommend keeping Calendly or similar for lead capture and scheduling intro calls into Classentra. Phase 2 will add public booking links directly.
Can parents see progress without getting a Classentra login?
Yes. You can publish a shareable progress-report link per student that requires no signup. The parent opens it, sees the last few sessions, recent notes flagged as shareable, and upcoming work. Your private working notes stay private.
How do I handle payment and invoicing?
Classentra tracks session counts per student for usage data. Phase 2 will add native invoicing and Stripe Connect payouts. Today, most tutors pair Classentra with Stripe or Square for billing — we export session counts to CSV for easy reconciliation.
Do I need a paid Zoom account?
No. A free Zoom account works. For 1-on-1 sessions (two participants) Zoom's free tier has no time limit. If you teach groups of 3+ and run past 40 minutes, you'll eventually want Zoom Pro — or use Google Meet, which is free for 60-minute group calls on a regular Gmail account.
Can I manage multiple students with different subjects and different parents?
Yes. Each student is an independent record with their own subject, pricing, guardian contact, and schedule. You can filter or search by subject if you want to group students in your own mental model — Classentra doesn't force a 'course' structure on you.
What happens when a student stops tutoring with me?
Mark them as archived. All their history stays intact and searchable, but they no longer appear in your active list. If they come back six months later, unarchive in one click and their history is still there.
Is this really cheaper than the big 'coaching platforms'?
Classentra starts free for up to 25 active students on your own Zoom, Meet, or Teams account, then $19/month on the Solo plan (up to 100 students) or $59/month on Pro (up to 1,000 students). Most dedicated coaching platforms begin at $50–100/month per user. We don't charge extra for progress reports, client messaging, or AI lesson prep — they're included.
