Employee training LMS

The employee training LMS that runs onboarding, role-based training, and skill tracking in one workspace

Most employee training tools are either a Notion-and-Slack stitch that loses completion data, or a 360Learning / Sana Labs enterprise contract that assumes 500+ headcount. Classentra is the modern employee training LMS for the 50-500 seat org — live + blended onboarding cohorts, role-based assignments, completion dashboards, and skill-gap tracking that grows with your headcount.

Built for orgs 50+ users

Corporate L&D pricing starts from $6,000/yr — talk to us. For deployments over 250 seats, SSO, SCIM, SCORM ingest, or audit-log export — talk to sales before rolling out. Org-tier billing is annual + seat-based.

What people-ops deals with

Either Notion-glue or enterprise contract — no middle ground

Most growing companies hit the same wall at 50 headcount. The onboarding Notion page worked when you had eight people; it doesn't survive ten new hires a quarter. The hiring manager forgets which modules a new role inherits. The completion data lives in a HRIS field nobody updates. The people-ops lead spends Friday rebuilding a checklist that should run itself.

Going the other way — 360Learning, Sana Labs, Cornerstone — buys you a real LMS but at enterprise pricing, enterprise implementation, and an integration backlog. Most 50-500 seat orgs can't justify the contract, the procurement cycle, or the IT review window.

Classentra fits the gap. Live + blended onboarding cohorts with auto-attendance. Role-based assignment that re-fires on role change. Completion dashboards the people leader can read. AI-drafted feedback on written reflections. Skill-mapping + gap analysis is on the roadmap for larger organization plans — talk to sales when you grow into it. Setup in days; rollout in a week.

What you get

Six capabilities employee training actually uses

Every feature below ships today unless marked. Single sign-on (SSO) via Google + Microsoft OIDC ships on organization plans — talk to sales for the right configuration; skill-mapping + gap analysis, SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, and SCORM-1.2 ingest are on the roadmap.

Role-based onboarding

Define onboarding by role (engineer, sales, support, manager). New hires inherit the checklist automatically on day one. Role changes re-fire only the deltas, not the whole onboarding.

Live + blended cohorts

Run new-hire cohorts live with native LiveKit sessions; auto-attendance per session. Self-paced modules + assignments + readings fill the rest. Recordings land in the course library for late starters.

Completion dashboards

Per-team, per-program, per-hire-date view. Filter by manager, role, or department. Export to PDF or CSV for the quarterly people-ops review. The numbers a head of people asks for in a board prep, in one click.

Skill mapping + gap analysis

Tag courses with skills (Python, SQL, manager 101, customer empathy). Map roles to required skill sets. Surface gaps per employee. On the roadmap for larger organization plans — talk to sales and we'll flag you when it lands.

Reusable training library

Build once — onboarding, manager training, sales enablement, compliance refresher. Reuse across cohorts and quarters. Drip-schedule by week or unlock manually. Search across every program in the company.

SSO on organization plans

OIDC SSO with Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID ships on organization plans; SAML and SCIM 2.0 provisioning (auto-deprovision on offboard) are on the roadmap. Audit-log export for SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

FAQ

Common questions from people-ops

Can role-based assignments re-fire on role change?
Yes — role changes trigger only the deltas, not the whole onboarding. Promotion from IC to manager fires the manager-101 module without re-running new-hire orientation. Lateral moves fire only the modules the new role requires that the old role didn't. Configurable per program.
Do you have skill-mapping and gap-analysis?
Skill-mapping — tag courses with skills, map roles to required skill sets, surface gaps per employee, recommend next courses — is on the roadmap for larger organization plans; talk to sales. Role-based assignment and completion dashboards ship today; skill-mapping is the layer on top for when you need it.
How is this different from 360Learning or Sana Labs?
360Learning and Sana Labs are excellent enterprise LMSs — and priced for enterprise. Public pricing is sales-gated, the contract assumes 500+ seats, and the implementation partner network is the dominant cost. Classentra ships the same outcomes (live + blended, role-based, completion dashboards, AI feedback) on public pricing in days for the 50-500 seat org. If you have a CLO and a procurement office, Sana Labs may still be the right call.
Can we run new-hire cohorts live?
Yes — live cohorts are the default operating shape. Native LiveKit sessions with auto-attendance, recordings in the course library for late starters, AI-drafted feedback on written reflections, and a completion dashboard the people leader can read. Most orgs ship their first new-hire cohort in a week.
Do you integrate with our HRIS?
SCIM 2.0 provisioning + de-provisioning from an HRIS (Workday, BambooHR, Rippling, Gusto, HiBob, Personio) is on our roadmap. Today, roster onboarding is bulk CSV invite and de-provisioning is one click in seat management; compliance CSV export ships today. Talk to sales if a specific HRIS integration blocks a rollout.
Can managers see their team's completion?
Yes — manager view filters the completion dashboard to direct reports only. Default permissions: managers see their team's completion; people-ops sees the whole org; admins see everything. Role permissions are configurable on organization plans.
