LMS for training companies

The LMS built for training companies selling to clients

If you sell training to external clients — corporate, franchise networks, professional associations — Classentra ships white-label client portals, B2B ecommerce with Stripe Connect, live + blended cohorts, and verifiable certificates in one workspace. Built for B2B2C, not internal L&D.

What training companies stitch together today

Five tools to deliver one client engagement

Most training companies selling courses to external clients run delivery on a stack their clients never see: Thinkific or a clone for content, Zoom for live, Stripe (or invoices) for billing, Google Drive for materials, and a custom client portal someone hacked together so each client sees only their cohort. The seams hurt — different logins, no shared state, and every new client means a fresh portal carve-out.

The pain compounds. A client emails for a roster export — three tools. A new cohort goes live — five copy-pastes. A renewal conversation needs completion rates, certificate counts, and live attendance — pull from each tool, paste into a deck, hope nothing drifted. Generic LMS tools sold to corporate L&D were built for the inside-the-firewall use case: one tenant, one brand, one finance team. That assumption breaks the moment you sell to multiple external clients.

Classentra collapses the stack. White-label client portals on custom domains, Stripe Connect billing routed per engagement, live + blended cohort delivery, certificates with public verification, and per-client reporting — all in one workspace. No portal carve-out per client. No tool drift on renewal. One LMS that fits the way training companies actually sell.

What you get

Six capabilities training companies actually need

Generic LMS tools optimize for internal HR. Classentra optimizes for B2B2C training delivery — every feature below is shipped today, not on a roadmap.

White-label client portals

Each client gets their own branded portal — custom domain, logo, theme. Their learners never see Classentra. You stay invisible; the client looks like they built it.

B2B ecommerce + Stripe Connect

Sell seats, cohorts, or per-course bundles directly. Stripe Connect routes payouts to your account — 0% platform transaction fee on Pro. No platform middleman holding client receivables for two weeks.

Live + blended delivery

Native live video powers cohort sessions. Mix self-paced modules, weekly live, and async assignments in one course. Recording auto-saves; client admins can replay. No Zoom round-trip.

Certificates with public verification

Issue branded completion certificates with a public verification URL per learner. Clients hand the verifier link to their HR or compliance team — no PDF authenticity questions, no email exchange.

Multi-instructor + role permissions

Assign instructors per cohort or per client. Granular role permissions — owner, instructor, client admin, learner. Clients can manage their own roster without touching other clients' data.

Per-client cohorts + reporting

Each client engagement is its own cohort with isolated rosters, assignments, and reporting. Renewal conversations ship with a real progress + attendance + certificate report — not a copy-paste deck. (Compliance CSV export — SCORM + xAPI — on roadmap.)

FAQ

Common questions from training companies

How is this different from an internal-HR LMS like Absorb or Docebo?
Internal-HR LMS tools assume one tenant, one brand, one finance team — the company's own employees. Training companies sell to multiple external clients, each expecting their own portal, brand, and reporting. Classentra is built for that B2B2C model: white-label client portals, per-client cohorts and reporting, and Stripe Connect routing. An internal-HR LMS bolted into a B2B2C use case ends up with portal carve-out engineering and finance reconciliation pain.
Can we run truly white-label client portals on custom domains?
Yes. Each client engagement can map to its own custom domain (e.g. learn.client.com) with the client's logo, colors, and brand. Learners never see Classentra branding in the portal. You stay invisible; the client owns the look.
What does Stripe Connect cost us per transaction?
On Pro, 0% Classentra platform fee — Stripe's standard processing (~2.9% + 30¢ US) applies. Your client receivables route directly to your bank, not held by a middleman. On Solo, 3% platform fee. On Free, 7%. There's no two-week settlement gate.
Do you support certificates with verification — for clients' HR or compliance teams?
Yes. Every completion issues a branded certificate with a public verification URL unique to the learner. Your client's HR or compliance team opens the link, sees the issuing entity, learner name, course, and completion date — no PDF authenticity question, no email back-and-forth.
Can you handle live + blended delivery, or is this self-paced only?
Live + blended is the default. Native live video (Daily / LiveKit) powers cohort sessions; you mix self-paced modules, scheduled live, and assignments in one course. Recordings auto-save. Most training-company courses use a blended pattern — Classentra was built for it, not retrofitted.
